Shruti Haasan, Prabhudheva & Girish Kumar at the Ramaiya Vastavaiya Music Launch
Last night saw the music launch of Prabhudheva’s much-awaited film Ramaiya Vastavaiya starring newcomer Girish Kumar with Shruti Haasan, Sonu Sood, Randhir Kapoor, Vinod Khanna and Poonam Dhillion. The music of the film has been composed by Sachin-Jigar who are on a roll these days with back-to-back musical hits.
The event (hosted by the entertaining Siddharth Kannan) started off with the a musical performance by Sachin-Jigar & lyricist Priya Panchal singing Jeene Laga Hoon which has already become a hit.

Producers Kumar & Ramesh Taurani then took the stage to discuss the making of the film and how the project came together.

The media was introduced to Girish for the very first time and he managed to charm everyone present with his playful banter with co-star Shruti.

The real treat of the evening was Prabhudheva, Girish & Shruti doing an impromptu jig to the song Hip Hop Pammi from the film.
